Definition and Usage

The NULLIF() function compares two expressions.

If expr1 and expr2 are equal, the NULLIF() function returns NULL. Otherwise, it returns expr1.

Syntax

NULLIF(expr1, expr2)

Parameter Values

Parameter Description
expr1, expr2 Required. The two expressions that will be compared (must be of same data type)
