Definition and Usage

The DAY() function returns the day portion of a date value (a number from 1 to 31).

Note: The DAY() function is a synonym for the DAYOFMONTH() function.

Syntax

DAY(date)

Parameter Values

Parameter Description
date Required.  The date or datetime value from which to extract the day
