Recommended only for those desperate heroes having absolutely no access to level four mage guilds, stuck in a purely defensive position and being constantly invaded by enemy heroes. And even then it's questionable, as most other skills still usually grant a more significant advantage.

That is incorrect, the 3 Resistance artifacts works without the Resistance skill.
- there is nothing about the resistance skill in the artifacts' description. compare "this item increases your magic resistance" (Garniture of Interference and "increases hero's archery skill" (Bowstring of the Unicorn's Mane).
