Road ignores all terrain penalties and enables hero to move further on the Adventure Map. There are three different types of roads: dirt, gravel and cobblestone. In manual it states, that movement on dirt road costs 75%, on gravel road 65% and on cobblestone road 50% compared to "normal" moving. The normal in this context means a terrain without terrain penalty.
